I haven’t posted anything in awhile. Things have been too busy. I know I promised an epic recap of the Solstice Scavenger Hunt but things in my world changed really rapidly the day after and I never got the time to do so. During the weekend of he Scavenger Hunt I started noticing how much my new puppy (Percy) had mellowed out and being naive I thought he was just growing up and being a good puppy. Little did I know he had an infection in his spine and I would wake up the following Tuesday morning and have a puppy that could not walk. I has been a hard couple of weeks but I am happy to say that he is walking again and back to his puppy self.
So recapping the scavenger hunt… it was so much fun and I cannot wait until next year. The turn out was just shy of 70 people and it seemed like A. most of them made it through the night … and B. everyone had a blast.
Because of Percy being sick I had to cancel some of my out of town plans the following weekend in exchange for a hot tub party at my house. Which wasn’t a bad exchange at all.
This past weekend kicked off with a gathering of friends at my house. The following night we headed over to the Fremont Zombie walk for a goulish good time and then Saturday we headed out of town to a cabin for Percy’s first vacation – which I believe he thoroughly enjoyed… but it turns out he’s not much of a water dog.
So the fun still exists, I just haven’t had time to write all about it. This coming weekend I will be missing out (once again) on ART-BQ but I have plenty of plans here in Seattle to hopefully keep my mind off of it!
